Master Key Experience week 14; Following The Trail

Master Key 14:17; We find that every man is the reflection of the thought he has entertained during his lifetime. Master Key 14:18; Back of every effect there is a cause, and if we follow the trail to its starting point, we shall find the creative principle out of which it grew. Master Key 14:27; If you enter into the discipline necessary to bring about a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately, after giving the matter careful thought and full consideration, and then you must allow nothing to interfere with your decision.

The title of this weeks blog is Following the Trail but could easily be titled “Responsibility.” As I read and studied the lesson paragraphs 17,18 and 27 kept jumping out and grabbing me. Helping me see clearly how the thoughts of my life truly have determined my life. Many were very good with incredible effects and some were very negative with disastrous effects. Also point seven of the 7 Laws of the mind kept validating its truth to me; “Whatever I think about grows and what I forget about atrophies without exception.” The other statement that kept appearing to me that is closely tied to my responsibility for my life is a statement I coined for myself many years ago. “Everyday of my past has prepared me for my future if I let it.”

The best growth times of my life have always been when I have kept myself is thriving growth environments. Were there times of struggle? Absolutely yes. A key factor in these environments were that most of the people in that environment were committed to growing also. The key word for me was they also were “committed” to growing. Not along for the ride, they to wanted something better. The people who were not interested in growth silently drifted away and we as a group wished them well.

The Master Key experience has immensely helped me in being able to say “No” to certain situations and people and not feel the “requirement” to explain myself. I remember reading a good book that said; “let your yes be yes and your no be no.”

I am very glad that I have disciplined my self to discover my cause and stay the course. To maintain my faithfulness to me and my cause. To focus on the Law of growth; Service, Give More, Get More. I was not put here on this earth to retire.” I was put here for Service To Others.

Until next week,

Jim Schaben

  1. “Let your yes be yes, and your no be no”! Love this! And I too am so much more able to say “no” and not feel I have to explain myself. This is so new for me! Thanks for your wonderful post!
