Master Key Experience Week 17A – R2A2

Its the R2A2 thing; Recognize, Relate – Assimilate, Apply.  Refusal to complete is denial of need to change and a way to cling to who they are, simply not prepared to take the journey.

That was the words that just kicked my butt Sunday on the webinar. I have been doing the exercises two times a day and on most days missing the third set. When Mark spoke the previous paragraph the words just smacked me up against the wall. I just said to myself, Jim how can you expect 100% results with 33 1/3% action? Common sense says that won’t work. Never has never will. The Law of Abundance is clear; Give more Get more. Some might say why are you being honest and sharing this? Because I learned a long time ago if you are not honest with your self who will you be honest with? Do I want to change to be better be more? Absolutely, and 66 2/3 % effort will not get me where I am going.

And I thought the butt kicking was over then…………

Mark asked the question; “What am I pretending not to know?” Simply what are you using as an excuse or a sloppy reason to not achieve what you want in your life? WHY ARE  YOU NOT GIVING YOURSELF “PERMISSION” TO BECOME WHO YOU WERE PUT HERE TO BECOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough Said.

Until next week,

Master Key Experience week 17-Concentrate

Master Key 17;34 If you wish to eliminate fear, concentrate on courage.

Master Key 17;35 If you wish to eliminate lack, concentrate on abundance.

Master Key 17;36 If you wish to eliminate disease, concentrate on health.

Master Key 17;37 Always concentrate on the ideal as an already existing fact.

We learned early in the sessions that what we focus on grows and what we forget about atrophies. What a blessing that “WE” get to make that choice. The two questions for each of us, “What are we going to focus on and grow? What are we going to forget about and let atrophy?”

When I think about these two questions I always ask myself, “What did the Master Carpenter focus on?” “Did He focus on growth and service?” His thinking always steers me back to being centered. Living by the compass not the clock.

I could write twenty pages on these four keys and these four questions. Common sense says to stop here and challenge you to stop for a few minutes and concentrate on the four Keys and the four questions.

Until next week,

Master Key Experience-Week 16, Wealth

The Master teacher the carpenter said; The way to Greatness, Find a way to serve the many. Service the invincible key to Greatness.

Master Key 16:1; Wealth is a product of labor. Capital is an effect, not a cause; a servant, not a master; a means not an end.

Some very successful people taught me this when I was young. Too bad it took until 30 to really understand it. Thank God I had failed enough times that I finally started paying attention. The Law of Cause and Effect finally started to sink in. I remember hearing people say find some thing you love to do, and do it with everything in you and you will never feel like you are working. I have to admit I did not understand what they were saying. Why, I don’t know. I think the word I got stuck on was love. I felt like if I followed that phrase it was to singular, it was going to be only about what I loved to do. Then I heard a gentleman speak the words; Find people who could truly benefit from the use and value of what you have to offer and you will discover that what you do is of great service to them and you will be rewarded. The greater the number of people you could be of service to the greater the reward will be. The greatest reward being the satisfaction of knowing what you do is of great value to many people.

I am so grateful I learned the Law of Cause and Effect. It taught me that wealth truly is a product of labor. As I think of the people I admire they are people who are cause driven. Yes, they deliver a service and earn money because they are driven by their cause. The work they do is like the work of an artist. Every action has meaning and life to it. You can tell by observing them that at sometime in the past they had this beautiful picture painted in their mind that they would someday see fulfilled in their life. And daily they see the new painting in their mind they are going to fulfill. Their mindset is true to who they are to their core. The most interesting trait about these people is that earning sums of money is not a stopping point for them. They get up every day and live to be a service to people. Service is just apart of their DNA, it’s who they are. These people see capital as an effect of service and labor. Capital is a servant to them. With this capital they build schools, churches, invest in other peoples ideas and mentor them to success. They help those in need. They understand the difference between a helping hand and a handout.

Wealth is such a beautiful word.

Master Key Experience- Do It Now Revisited

Yes I’m late with my post. “NO EXCUSE”

One of the key principles I have used in my life to create success has been a do it now attitude. That attitude has reaped me great rewards. Not this week, I’m late. Did I have time to get it done on time? Yes. Why didn’t I? Each time as I would get ready to write the post the thought of, “Think about this particular item for another day, then write it out.” Crazy, bad thinking.

So could I use excuse’s to justify being late? Not me! Let me share a few most would use. Yes these were “some” of the real events in my life this week.

I was completely prepared to write my post when the phone rang and a situation needed addressed. It took much longer than I thought it would. That one work? NO!!! This was Wednesday.

Thursday just got to busy.

Friday who knows.

Everything was laid out to post”Saturday” morning and I needed to go to the bathroom. Then my wife Sandy said one of our children would like our help painting a wall thirty foot wide and eighteen foot high. I love painting and I’m good at it. Can’t pass up helping complete one of my children’s dreams. We finish painting and “wow” did the wall look beautiful. We finished early and the next task that needed done was the Rafters needed sanded so they could be stained. So Mark my son in law and I climbed up the scaffolding and went to work and sanded them all. While we are doing this my daughter Amanda and Sandy start staining the rafters in one of the bedrooms, completed them and started on bedroom number two. The stain on the rafters is beautiful. Then the excitement starts. Sandy is nine foot up a ladder turns to come down and a very stable ladder for some reason decides it is not going to stay in an upright position. Sandy falls to the floor, Left thumb looks like it is possibly dislocated, ankle is already swollen, covered in stain and says I’m ok. Thankfully nothing was broken, and she is healing.

You may be saying, but Jim with everything that happened Saturday it’s ok your post was not done before Sunday at two o’clock. NO I cannot use any of Saturday for an excuse. The post’s are due by 10 PM “FRIDAY NIGHT”

Excuse’s never work but “TRUTH Will ALWAYS WIN THE DAY”

A statement I teach those around me is, “Weight will break a bridge, and too much weight will break any bridge.” Too much weight broke my bridge of being on time this week and I, Jim Schaben am not proud of it.

I am, an on time, do it now, person. ” I Keep My Promises.”

Master Key Experience week 14; Following The Trail

Master Key 14:17; We find that every man is the reflection of the thought he has entertained during his lifetime. Master Key 14:18; Back of every effect there is a cause, and if we follow the trail to its starting point, we shall find the creative principle out of which it grew. Master Key 14:27; If you enter into the discipline necessary to bring about a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately, after giving the matter careful thought and full consideration, and then you must allow nothing to interfere with your decision.

The title of this weeks blog is Following the Trail but could easily be titled “Responsibility.” As I read and studied the lesson paragraphs 17,18 and 27 kept jumping out and grabbing me. Helping me see clearly how the thoughts of my life truly have determined my life. Many were very good with incredible effects and some were very negative with disastrous effects. Also point seven of the 7 Laws of the mind kept validating its truth to me; “Whatever I think about grows and what I forget about atrophies without exception.” The other statement that kept appearing to me that is closely tied to my responsibility for my life is a statement I coined for myself many years ago. “Everyday of my past has prepared me for my future if I let it.”

The best growth times of my life have always been when I have kept myself is thriving growth environments. Were there times of struggle? Absolutely yes. A key factor in these environments were that most of the people in that environment were committed to growing also. The key word for me was they also were “committed” to growing. Not along for the ride, they to wanted something better. The people who were not interested in growth silently drifted away and we as a group wished them well.

The Master Key experience has immensely helped me in being able to say “No” to certain situations and people and not feel the “requirement” to explain myself. I remember reading a good book that said; “let your yes be yes and your no be no.”

I am very glad that I have disciplined my self to discover my cause and stay the course. To maintain my faithfulness to me and my cause. To focus on the Law of growth; Service, Give More, Get More. I was not put here on this earth to retire.” I was put here for Service To Others.

Until next week,
