They are the architects of greatness, their vision lies within their souls, they peer beyond the veils and mists of doubt and pierce the walls of unborn time. Makers of Empire, they have fought for bigger things than crowns and higher seats than thrones. “Your homes are set upon a land that a dreamer found.” Master Key week 13 introduction.
The preceding paragraph caught me the first time I read it a week ago and every day as I read it captured me more. “Your homes are set upon a land that a dreamer found.” Think about that for a minute, let it really sink in. Now look around your house. Look outside, at the exterior, the lawn, the landscaping. Look at the inside structure of your house. The walls, the rooms, closets, book shelves, look every where. What do you see? Do you realize that the house you are living in was your dream or vision if you built it or it was someone else’s dream and vision if you bought it from some one. Regardless it was some ones dream to build your house. Someone made a decision to be of service so you and I could live where we are living today. Here is that word again “Service.”
I can vividly remember the first time I saw the house I live in today. we had told the realtor what we were looking for and he immediately said I believe I know the place your looking for. It’s going to take some work but I believe it will work for you. He was correct that it was going to take some work but all we could see was the potential. I didn’t share with the realtor until later that for six years on my vision board I had the picture of a green building with white gutters, white trim and white doors to build my business out of. That green building getting on my dream board is a story in itself. When I was in my twenties I found myself always wanting what someone owned. I didn’t realize it at the time but it was a form of envy. What I eventually figured out was to be happy for others for what they had. To thank God for being so kind for giving them the mindset and financial ability to own that specific item and to give me the wisdom and knowledge to do what I needed to have a like item to build my business or live my life with also. Not theirs, the one God would give me the ability to own. Yes the green building is still on the property, much larger today and very functional. I can still see myself walking through weeds four feet high to get to the white walk in door. Entering the building a warm feeling came over my entire body. This building was ready to be of service and I was ready to go into action. The process of cleaning the ten acre property was an immense task but a very rewarding experience. The thoughts of “do it now” were in my mind all day long. The other thoughts were where everything was going to be placed and as we grew how I was going to add more building space. I could clearly see a well kept prosperous property that would be of service to many people. Yes the homes, property and business’s that each of us live in or work from were created by someone’s dreams. How grateful I am that the world is full of “Dreamers.”
I have said for years what separates people is their “Thinking.” Being a part of this “Master Key Experience” has added a completely new level of thinking to me. I find myself not needing to be right all the time. Not desiring to give “MY Opinion” every time some one says something I don’t agree with or believe in. I have truly learned “opinions” are the ugly relatives of negativity. There is so many things that are in the process of getting better.
I am so “Grateful” for the Master Key Experience. Many times in my life I have studied and learned and when my learning reached a certain level I slowed the learning process and just worked night and day. My concern in starting this thirteen weeks ago was not would I start it but would I stick with it for twenty six weeks. Give two hours plus every Sunday afternoon. Do the assignments everyday. I did not want to start one more thing and not finish it well, to the best of my ability. Now I wake up every morning thirsting and hungry to get to my lessons to see what I can learn and apply today. One of the big things I had lost was my do it now attitude. I proudly can say now every time I see something that needs done a “Do It Now” sign is brightly shining in my mind. And dang it feels good to act on a task and finish it now!!!!
To my guide Sheila I say “Thank you.” Continue to push me, do not let up on me. We are now starting the second half.
